Completing a BA Business (Major in Law) Sharon fell in to real estate in 1998 and has worked in property acquisition, residential real estate and business development building an executive rent-roll for McGrath. After 4 years 'within' the industry, she changed career direction in 2002 in to recruitment and in 2005 established her own company sharonbennie – Specialist Property Recruitment focused on recruitment in real estate and property. So is clocking up 15 years of recruiting experience within this specialised field.

Sharon has been widely recognised for her expertise and knowledge of the marketplace. She has spoken at the REINSW, Century 21 Annual Conference, LPMA (Leading Property Managers of Australia) Conference, Real Estate Training Group event and performed coaching sessions with LJ Hooker. She has been nominated for Telstra Young Business Woman of the Year twice, her expertise has been quoted in The Australian and on industry based training CD's, she regularly writes columns for industry based magazines and her team was proud principal sponsors of the Real Estate Institutes 'Young Agents' Chapter when it launched.
